Job Description

Position: Warehouse worker  

Place of work: Gdańsk  

Place of accommodation: Pruszcz Gdański (12 km from Gdańsk) 

 

Employment: Contract of mandate 

Salary: 

  • Guaranteed rate: PLN 27.70 gross/hour. 
  • Additionally, bonuses are provided. 

Payouts: Regularly, between the 15th and 20th of each month. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assembling: scanning a carton from one pallet and transferring it to another pallet to complete the assembling process. 
  • Sorting: (mainly women) transferring items from one carton to another according to the quantity indicated on the terminal. 
  • W-sort: this process involves generating the pallets using a computer or a scanner, printing and sticking a logistics label on the carton. 
  • Reception/dispatch: reception or loading of commodities, mainly for men 

Work schedule: 

  • Working in a two-shift system, 12 hours per shift. 
  • First shift: 06:00 – 18:00. 
  • Second shift: 18:00 – 06:00. 
  • Working 5-6 days a week, with paid breaks. 

Accommodation: 

  • Comfortable houses equipped with all the necessary amenities. 
  • Cost of accommodation: PLN 450 per month, deducted from salary.
     

Transport: 

  • Free commute from Pruszcz Gdański 

 

Additional information: 

  • Own work clothes required. 
  • Site temperature: +20°C to +22°C. 
  • On the site of the facility, there is a canteen as well as vending machines with free drinks. 
  • Employees receive a card for purchasing meals (PLN 136). 

Start of work: 

Within 1-2 days after arrival.
