Job Description

Position: Production worker  

Work Location: Zduny (46 km from Gdańsk)  

Residence: Tczew/Swarozyn  

Employment:  

  • Contract of mandate.  

Remuneration:  

  • Guaranteed rate: PLN 30,50 per hour gross  
  • Additionally, bonuses are provided. 

Payouts: Regularly, between the 15th and 20th of each month.  

Responsibilities:  

  • working on an automated packaging line  
  • folding of cartons and further packaging of jars and cans  
  • folding of smaller packages into large cartons and pallets  
  • labelling, sorting and packaging of finished products  

Production of rollmops:

  • Rolling herring fillets with a piece of cucumber and piercing them with a toothpick/stick.
  • Packing into jars — the rolled rollmops are weighed, and a specified amount is placed into each jar.

In addition to rolling and packing, accompanying tasks are performed:

  • Placing jars on the production line,
  • Supplying raw materials,
  • Operating individual machines,
  • Stacking finished jars on pallets.

Additional tasks, mainly supportive (performed by men):

  • Supplying fish and cucumbers,
  • Catching fish from pools/barrels,
  • Preparing the brine.

Work schedule:  

  • Work in a two-shift system, 8 hours per shift.  
  • First shift: 06:00 – 14:00  
  • Second shift: 14:00 – 22:00  
  • Working 5-6 days a week with paid breaks.  

Accommodation:  

  • Comfortable houses equipped with all necessary facilities.  
  • Accommodation costs: PLN 550 per month, deducted from salary. 

Additional information:   

  • Site temperature: +15°C to +20°C.   
  • Workwear, boots and gloves are provided at company expense. 
  • Medical examination at company expense.  

Start of work:  

  • Within 4-5 days after arrival.
